AC - Fuse Indicator Light, Pentode/Triode, FX Loop, Bias Test and Adj,
reverb manual, reverb FS, speaker out, ohm selection 4-8-16.

Italian Leather covering with chrome corners and plenty of ventilation for the
KT-88's to breath through. The size of the amplifier is larger because it is
mounted on the new 2001 format syled chassis from MATAMP.

Back of chassis grill stays with chassis when removed from the amp sleeve.
Unlike the new GT's on the new chassis, this S2000 has a one piece front panel

Top view of chassis shows the clean stainless steel appearance.

Folded front panel reinforcements and welded stainless steel chassis prove
to be effective from fighting corrosion, attaining propper ground and
          accommodating several amp models design.

Voltage Selector located on the side. Selection is made when the amp is out
          of the amp sleeve.

Chassis inside is spacious and very clean in design. Dave Green's hardwire
hand craft combined with his Trade Mark Turret Trak boards.

Turret Trak by Dave Green at MATAMP Pro Audio in Huddersfield.

Back of amp out of amp sleeve. One of 3 ever made by Dave Green and
ever released from the UK factory since Mat's discontinued production of
the S2000 in 1970. This one is marked JL001 after the new factory owner.

          REVIEW NOTES:
This amp arrived in the USA in April of 2004. In it's own flight case the amp
could not wait to be switched over to 120volt and played.

The tone of the S2000 is extremely close to the original S2000's compared
to with the EL34's. If this unit had the EL34's it would probably be dead on.
Features like Reverb make this amp very complete. Most of the S2000
users back in the 60's used Mat's Reverb Tank. The reverb tanks are very
tough to find and no longer in production.

Very functional and an amp unit that is easy to service. The amp is begging for
another amp sleeve with the original black basketweave vinyde and black corners.
The Italian Leather amp sleeve was made special for this amp since it was the first
one completed by the UK Factory in 30+ years. The leather is too gimpy.

Overall this amp unit is subperb in build quality, original tone quality and design.
Recapturing the unit exact would take extensive research and probably would
have to resort to use of old/used/nos parts making the production limited and
          frustration level high.

The amp unit will be a reliable unit and with it's service ability, should last far
into the future like the original MATAMP S2000's built by Mat continue to do.

If you like or desire the tones of Peter Green, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and
Pink Floyd, this amp is your jamming, gigging, & recording tool.

Custom orders can be made at MATAMP Dist. USA for $2800.00 including
          delivery.
